Matthew Swartz developed his passion for agriculture as a 4-H and FFA member. Working on the farm led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Education and Farm Management from The Ohio State University. He also holds a Master of Science Degree from Purdue University. His studies and experience are in adult education, adult motivation theory, agribusiness, and farm management.

Matthew has worked in all aspects of agricultural education including University Extension, high school, and agriculture industry. His work experience has included companies like Pioneer, Monsanto, Syngenta, FMC, Helena, Nutrien, and BASF. He has developed training programs within the seed, chemical, fertilizer, Machinery industry at all levels of retail, wholesale, and supplier networks.

Matthew’s passions for helping people discover their potential is why he created his own company called Growing the Results LLC. He believes in utilizing motivation and education, to bridge the gap of possibilities for individuals. A lifetime student of agriculture he has practiced many areas of production agriculture. His hands-on experiences aid him in the ability to solve complex agriculture industry challenges. By combining his industry understanding of production agriculture, farm management, and adult education, he can approach the industry with a unique perspective. Simply put, his company focuses on human capacity building through a change in knowledge, skills, and attitudes. By changing the sum of individuals, he believes we can improve our ability to help organizations and farmers meet global food challenges.

He has married to Emily Swartz for over 24 years who is an agricultural marketing manager, and has three children Luke, Caleb, and Chayleigh. The family lives on a small farm in Lebanon, Indiana.

Luke Swartz has grown up on a farm and enjoys educating others about the agricultural process by sharing his life experience as a part of the fourth generation of a family farm. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University along with a management certificate in collaboration with the Kelley School of Business. Luke is currently pursuing his Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine with the hopes of becoming a rural family physician for underserved populations.
Luke was born with a rare hearing disability that set him apart from a young age. He has used the challenges in his life to inspire others through motivational speeches on the power of Optimism and perseverance since he was ten years old. Luke has spoken to people from all walks of life, including local school district leaders, national education conferences, and even international volunteer organizations. His personal experiences and passion for helping others have moved him to promote the inclusion of everyone through the destruction of stereotypes, especially in the workplace.
Luke has been blessed to be a part of a loving, supportive family where he is the oldest of three siblings—Caleb and Chayleigh. Luke loves to read books, hike trails, and hang out with friends in his free time.
